PROGRAM PERTANIAN LESTARI SALIMANDUT 2025-2027
The program is a community farming initiative in Tandek Kota Marudu that promotes sustainable agriculture. Through the Pertanian Lestari Salimandut program, 25 local farmers are trained in agroecology, organic fertilizer production, and product processing, while also developing agro-tourism and digital marketing to create new income opportunities and establish a model for sustainable rural development in Sabah.
The 3 years iniative is supported by the Axiata Foundation and Ministry of Finance, with Sabah Social Entreprenuers Association and Borneo Fertilyst as the implementing partner.
SE CATCH UP 2026 SERIES : BORNEO FERTILYST EDITION
Sabah SE Catch-Up Series 2026 was held on 25 April 2026 at Kampung Rasak Laut, Kota Marudu, bringing together 27 participants from the local community and Kolej Vokasional Kota Marudu. Organised by SCENIC in collaboration with Borneo Fertilyst, the programme featured knowledge-sharing sessions on social entrepreneurship, sustainable agriculture, community innovation, and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), with contributions from APPGM-SDG Sabah. The session provided a platform for meaningful dialogue, collaboration, and capacity building to strengthen sustainable community development.
AGROLESTARI BORNEO WORKSHOP 2025
The Agrolestari Borneo Workshop is a three-day knowledge-sharing and capacity-building programme that brings together solution partners, agripreneurs, and community farming leaders to explore sustainable agriculture practices and practical approaches for developing productive, resilient, and sustainable community gardens. Through expert sharing sessions, discussions, and hands-on learning, participants exchange ideas and strengthen collaboration to support community-led agricultural development.
The workshop is sponsored by the APPGM-SDG National Food Security Programme and implemented by Borneo Fertilyst as the implementing partner.
